China's Economy
China is facing several economic challenges including an aging working population, the world's largest private debt, and an uneven income distribution. The country's gross domestic product has been steadily declining, and it is expected to continue declining through the end of the decade. Exports in the country have also decreased, leading to a depreciation of the nation's currency. On the other hand, growth is occurring in some sectors, including the service industry, as the economy shifts towards greater reliance on consumption and services. (Euromonitor International, 2016)
