INFRASTRUCTURE
What is infrastructure?
Infrastructure is the structural framework that a region needs in order to function properly, such as roads, bridges, transportation, and electricity.1 Sufficient infrastructure is vital to the success of a country, as it ensures the safety and interconnected communication of Chinese citizens.
As a rapidly growing and globalizing country, China is financially prioritizing the maintainance and improvement of infrastructure throughout the country, particularly in thriving urban areas. Additionally, China's goal in investing strongly in infrastructure is to bring the quality of infrastructure up to that of a middle-income country, while furthering the efficiency of transportation to urbanize the country.2 Their focus on infrastructure allows the logistics of business and life in the country to continue operating smoothly.
